About the Classes
Ms. Bethany’s Children’s Classes are rich in play, learning, and engaging activities. Each week the class is structured with hello song, circle time, parachute play, structured activity, free play, bubbles, snuggle, book, and good-bye song. The children learn the class routine and are excited for what’s next!
Each week children are working on social, gross motor, fine motor, and cognitive skills as they experiment with challenging and developmentally appropriate activity stations. During structured play time, a new station is introduced using manipulatives, sensory activities, creative play, and more! Along the way, benefit from learning from a knowledgeable instructor who will help you to enhance your child’s development. Come play, learn, and meet new friends in this safe, supportive environment!
Create and Discover Art
Designed specifically for 16-36 month olds, this 45-minute, theme-based art class fosters both imagination and creativity. Each class with focus on the process of playing and interacting with art, not necessarily the take-away product. Each week the children will have the opportunity to explore various art stations and discover art in their own ways. Not only will children have fun discovering different art mediums during each class, they will also be developing skills along the way- sensory, social, and problem-solving skills. Classes begin with a themed-story to accompany the art stations. After art time, the children will reassemble for a short circle time where Ms. Bethany leads the children in songs and dances that reflect the weekly theme. Come paint, draw, sculpt, and play with us! Dress to get messy!
This 30-minute class offers something for all little music lovers! Enhance your little one’s love of music during this special bonding time. Each class will have songs, dances, and movement games that will excite your budding musician. Music is proven to aid in a child’s development and language skills as they practice new vocabulary, the rhythm and structure of speech, and tonality. Along the way, you’ll be building a repertoire of cheerful songs that will instill a lifelong love of music.
